I recently stayed at Chuu Pun Village Resort, and while the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to the beach were highlights, there were some drawbacks to my stay. The room I booked was a bit worn out, with uncomfortable pillows and a lingering odor. However, the good pool area and friendly staff made my experience enjoyable overall.

I recently stayed at Chuu Pun Village Resort and had a mixed experience. The surrounding kampung area was really nice and quiet, plus the warm sunshine over the paddy fields was a lovely sight. However, I did notice a slight chemical smell in the rooms, and the shower water pressure wasn't great. Overall, I appreciated the peaceful location away from the hectic beach area but had a few issues during my stay.

The King Room I was initially given had a strong chemical smell and a creepy cockroach. Luckily, the next room was better but still had a bit of an odor. The lack of a fan was also a downside.
